Oh the Drama (Part 2)

This is the week where the last O.C. episode ever airs and this is also the week where we find out whether Meredith is dead for good or how they will bring her back. So I am equally sad and excited. Most of the drama in the second to last O.C. episode “The Taylor and SummerNight Moves” probably came from the fact that it was the second to last episode of the series and that I watched it after Meredith had flatlined (Btw I liked this post on “Drowning on Dry Land”).

I just read Jonathan Toomey’s  Review on “The Night Moves” and it pretty much coincides with what I thought about the episode. Ryan was so brave and mature with his earthquake injury and all and Seth really kept it together most of the time. I was slightly annoyed that the homeless guy (forgot the name) bargained himself the Cohen’s SUV for nothing and it surprised me that they could put a cast on a bunny’s foot. I’ve had a several bunnies and I’ve never seen them break a foot let alone wear a cast.

Taylor and her mother as well as Frank and Kaitlin easily made up in the end which might be a sign that the writers want to dissolve all disputes before the show ends. Also an indication for this was that everything turned out fine with Kirsten’s baby and with Ryan’s insury. The whole storyline felt like they were wrapping it up. What remains is the totally destroyed Cohen residence.

I haven’t spoiled for the series finale so I will be waiting for Thursday in total anticipation. What I noticed but what could have also been pure hallucination on my side was that Seth and Summer acted a little distant to each other. Did they shoot this episode after Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody had broken up

Btw I just read on TV.com that there will be a break of at least two weeks after the Greys Anatomy 3-parter. I quit smoking a few years ago so that I could be in control, live healthier save money etc. When they take one of your favourite TV shows of the air or withhold episodes from you it briefly feels like it did when I first quit the smokes. Unbearable!
