Bye Bye Christopher
Oh how I love evenings like yesterday’s. I had taped the newest epis of 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars and there was no stopping me. I even watched one Twin Peaks episode in the end sort of as a bedtime sweet. Although I do think that 7th Heaven has lost a lot of its original appeal and was kind of dragged into an eleventh season it still serves its purpose and brings me 1 hour of happy time. I think Martin is really hot and should get more screen time. That would be very much appreciated.
Both Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars were very solid episodes. I liked that Lorelai stopped whining and finally stepped up to Christopher. We knew where their discussions were heading and I must say that the scenes involving Christopher and Lorelai were very sensitively written and I even felt sorry for Christopher in the end because he was so understanding although he knew that their relationship was over. I hope they don’t instantly bring back together Lorelai and Luke but give her some alone time in order for her to process everything. I’m glad this storyline has come to an end- it felt wrong all along.
The more I liked Lauren Graham’s character the less I approve of what they did to Rory’s role. Out of nowhere and without a warning she becomes this silly and stammering 12 year old telling her bf she googled the temp professor. How unnecessary was that? Sorry but I’m on Karen’s side about Logan being Mr Big Business. He’s been out of college for what, 4 months? The strongest character this week was definately Paris who is like the best friend ever to Rory and she’s so hilarious. Speaking of best friend - where’s Lane and what kind of rotten friend is Rory for not visiting her or maybe the producers are just not showing it.
All in all a good episode.
I think I will write about Veronica Mars next week when the plots have evolved a little bit more.It was a pleasure to see Wallace again - if only for 15 seconds and I was surprised to see Veronica bake but on the other hand she is probably capable of doing anything.
I just read that Parker Posey will star as a lead in Amy Sherman- Palladino’s The Return of Jezebel James. Read more about it here. I think she’s hot.
I just found this site and I totally agree. Read “Dear Women of Gilmore Girls & Veronica Mars“
